Paola Marchionni is Programme Manager Digitisation at JISC managing a portfolio of JISC-funded digitisation projects in the UK. Previously she worked as Project Director for the South Asian Diaspora Literature and Arts Archive (SALIDAA) digitisation project, a New Opportunities Fund sponsored project that delivered a web-based archive of images and text material relating to the works of South Asian artists and writers in the UK. Before joining JISC, she was Web Site Project Manager and Editor for “Universal Leonardo”, a web resource on the works of Leonardo da Vinci based at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, the University of the Arts London. Paola has also project managed a number of educational arts and literature related web projects within the heritage sector. She graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy, and obtained an MA in Literature, Culture and Modernity from the University of London.
